    Hi all

I’ve just finished my first cnc build and am hoping someone can help me with a few problems that I’m having

My design is based off the instructables Dremel cnc Homebuilt (DIY) CNC Router - Arduino Based (GRBL) but the very quickly was altered, now using sbr12 rails on the x any y axis, prpper lead screws and fitted out at the minute with a Marita router which should be changed for a 500w spindle this week.

Anyway, the first problem I have is my micro limit switches.

I’ve installed the limit Switches as above, but I’m no electrician. And not sure how to set the resistors and capacitors up and connect them up to the Arduino even after reading the wiki, does anyone have any photos of their setup?

Secondly, I’ve been looking at this post on YouTube and I think it would be perfect as I only have a small shop and don’t really want to have all the dust in my laptop. I thought I knew a bit about the basic pi system, obviously not. I’m wanting to use the touch screen to start either the UGS platform or classic from the pi desktop via a shortcut, I’ve searched all the forums but any shortcut I create won’t open UGS.

I really hope someone with more knowledge than me can help me here

    Thanks

    Rob
