I've been searching for a CNC router for a couple of months now, via eBay mostly.

Most I've found are too small (I need to be able to cut 1.3m x 1.2m), or the one's I've found that seem ideal the people advertising don't appear to want me to view them before buying as they don't reply to such requests.

I paid £12,000 for my custom built plasma table 4 months ago and don't want to spend a similar amount of money this time around.

Given that I can't find what I want, the next solution is to build one myself from a kit.

I may have a CNC table already, but don't have a clue as to where to start if I'm building my own (and already working 7 days a week ), I just know how to use it.

Can anyone advise on which kit is the best to buy, easiest to put together and where to buy it from (I'm in the UK).

I have read a lot of good things about (and have now actually ordered) the WorkBee CNC machine made by Ooznest.

The largest version is the 1500x1500mm which has a cutting area of 1300x1270mm so that might work for you? That version costs £1,395.00.

    Hope that helps?

    Thank's for the helpful reply.

I had a look at that machine, it will do what I want it to, but by the time I've added all of the extra costs of software, pc etc, it becomes as expensive as some of the sturdier (used) machines on eBay.

The price isn't really an issue, what I'm more concerned about is reliability

Do you have any experience on using the machine, is it capable of working on a daily basis without issues ?

    Thanks again,
