I've been using this one for about 3 years with no problems. The working speed range is 2000 to 24000 rpm. The Dewalt will go to 27000 but only down to 16000. Being water cooled you also have longer run times without over heating, I've run several jobs of 24 plus hours. Less noise, router with no load is about 90 db while the spindle is about 55 db. And less dust blowing around as the water cooled spindle doesn't have a fan blowing to keep it cool.

Before the spindle I would have to replace the brushes in the router about every 6 months, no brushes in the spindle..

Advantage of the Router, it cost less.... $139 vs $312 for the spindle

    Hello,
Did you have any issues installing this spindle?
Did you have to make a custom mount?
Are you able to turn on the spindle and control the speed through the Blackbox controller or is it done separately through the VFD?
Since you installed and got it running have you had any issues with it?
    Thank you,
