hi folks, prepare for a complete newbie question...I have bought the WorkBee CNC from ooznest 1500mm x 1500mm, not built it yet? I also bought vcarve pro, so question is, I design my work in vcarve assign tool paths etc then what? How do I send that job to my machine? What do I need to do next? I heard about CAM and g code sender but unsure what they are? Also how do I manually control my machine? Thanks folks
Can anyone explain step by step! Thanks in advance!

I don't have this combination of equipment and software so I can't give you a step by step, but it's all basically the same. Vcarve is your cad/cam software to design and create toolpaths and output a gcode file. You'll need control software to read that toolpath code and control the machine. That control software will also allow you to manually jog the machine around. If you're using a grbl board then you'll need a grbl based control software. Ugs and grbl panel come to mind.
    Good luck

Thanks so much Joe! Really appreciate that advice, that’s put my mind at ease, I thought I was missing something. I’ll check what board I have, and download a relevant control software. I used to use a Gerber dimension cnc router but that had its own separate control box to jog the machine. Thanks again mate!
