CNC xPro V3 jumper settings for better circles

    Hi mates,
    I have got my Ox with an CNC xPro V3 controllerboard and since now, I used the Ox with factory settings.
    Now lately I bought a knife for CNC to create letterings in masking tape and found out, circling is a little bit odd. Read the thread about the controller board and there are 4 jumpers (step) for each motor ( from full to x32)and a decay jumper(slow, mix, fast).
    Do those jumpers affect anything to smoothness?

    Have to add, that when the OX is trying to make circles, there is a kind of a rattling sound.

    You are going to have to show us pictures or video of what you mean by 'odd'.
    You will have to post your drawing and the Gcode, and tell us how you made the gcode.
    You need to post your current settings, ie what are the jumper settings etc?

    Rattling usually indicates that something is loose (-: Are your belts tight enough?

    Did you get a better result? I too have a rattling especially on low feed rate, mostly on Y and (A) - I use a 24v psu, but I am thinking about trying with 12v, since I have read somewhere that the DRV8825 runs smoother with 12v.

    Also I have been trying to find some info for if the decay jumpers would do anything to help me?
