The PDF that is attached is what I got when I ordered my motors and driver boards.

I ordered another driver and a stepper from openbuilds, my question is how I wire the extra driver and motor in. I'll have 1 for z, 1 for x and 2 for the Y axis, but I don't know exactly how to wire in the second Y axis motor in.

    Any one able to help?

The main question is, do I run the second Y axis to P7 and P8 on the BoB, or do I split the wire and run P6 and P7 to both the Y axis motors? Not sure, but this is the last step of my build before I can yet it going

Obviously I am not familiar with your BOB, and you will need to check and research, the capability of the equipment you are using, to be sure it is capable of driving two motors from the same source, but the normal procedure is to put both motors into the same driver holes. HOWEVER!! Do remember, that one pair of wires must be around the other way, because in reality, one motor is always going in the opposite direction compared to its accompanying motor on the "Y" axis.

For belts yes, but for screws no.

I have 4 drivers and 4 motors, I don't want to use 2 motors in one driver. What I want is to see if I wire the 2 drivers up to the same pins from the BoB,

My only issue is wiring up the 2 drivers to the BoB so they receive the same signal to push the steps to the two Y motors. If you look at the diagram, you can see how the drive a are connected to the BoB, I just need to add on more driver for the Y axis, just unsure how it would connect to the BoB

Connect signal cables from the Bob to both drives.

Thank you so much. That was all I needed. Been a while, but I can complete my build and I'll be able to post app details on forum. Longer than expected to build, but that's what happens when you have little kids.
