Was already contemplating moving to smoothieboard for my latest build. Worked with lots of printer boards but never made the leap, yet. New build will be a 1000 x 500 x 500 dual head printer but not in the normal tall orientation! Also wish to use C-beam for rigidity and accuracy on 2 of the axis. OK no more I have said enough............................................................

I would probably use it for the large-form-factor XYZ-head printer I'm currently planning out - which I'll admit is a bit ambitious for the first printer I'll have used...

Just getting familiar with the OpenBuild website, because I am trying to get informed on building a laser cutter/engraver. A Smoothie would get me started! ;-)

It would be my very first build. With a Smoothieboard, I would build something like a cartesian cnc router of about 1m x 1m. I would also love to build a delta 3d printer... but that would probably be my next project.

Have been wanting to get into the 3d printing technology for a while now, ive decided that im going to build a mpcnc myself, because it can cut, engrave, and print. Once im familiar with the technology i want to create a dedicated 3d printer and eventually progress to making then selling cheap custom 3d printers on ebay.

Already built a 3d printer, so I'd use it to build my first CNC.

I've got a unique, stationary bed CoreXY printer I have been working on I would use this board on.

I'm making a 3d printer out of scrap electrical conduit and this board would be useful.

Working to finish a couple builds. So a smoothie board will be a great fit for the OX MILL waiting to be finished.

I would build a custom laser cutter. I have wanted one for over three years and don't have enough money to buy one.

I am building a machine that is similar to the C-Beam XLarge! I have almost everything I need and this would provide me with the controller.

This board would fit like a glove in my C-Beam 1000mm x 1000mm upgrade.

I would use this sweet board as the brains behind my new reprap build. I'm sure it can handle the dual extruders, multi-fans, and all the steppers needed to run my machine smooooooooooooooth!

I would definately use this on my CoreXY D-Bot simply because I am using RAMPS 1.4 and there's always something going wrong with the controller!!

Currently building a D-Bot style 3D printer with a 600x600 bed size. Heated enclosure, all using V-Slot for linear motion. Have a ramps board slated for it... but a smoothie would make all the difference!!

I don't have a machine yet, but I want one. It's between an Ox and a cbeam build I think.

I'd use it to build an 80w laser cutter. As simple and openbuild as possible.
