Small Portable PCB CNC Machine (CoreXY)

This is a small CNC mill/router specifically for manufacture PCBs. This is based on the corexy gantry setup. The plan is to have a small, light self-contained machine that can be used and easily but away when it's job is done.

    It's a suitcase by itself Joe ;).

    I would keep the back open so you could route bigger parts by sliding it trough the machine step by step. A build-in ruler would come in handy combined with the open back.

    Well the point of this machine is to be small. And specifically for PCBs. If I need to do anything bigger, I have a larger CNC in the garage.

    Looks promising, will keep an eye on this as just what I am looking for. I currently have access to a LPKF PCB miiling machine until the end of the year, but need something for home use on small board prototypes.

    It's really interesting. Curious to see how you'll accommodate the PSU and the electronic controls in the suitcase.

    Nice looking design, can't wait to see more progress! Might be nice to seal the design in with clear acrylic and have a vacuum attachment port around the rear to remove the dust/particles. :D
