How to set G53 zero on BlackBox X32?

    Hi all,
    I have a homebuilt CNC mini-mill (modified a non-CNC mill) and using a Blackbox X32 to control it.

    Fusion 360 spits out these G53 zero commands that keep crashing the machine. I am able to set G54 zero using either OpenBuilds control or the interface, but there is no option to set the G53 zero manually. How do I do this?

    G53 = Machine Coordinates - that is set by Homing the machine (Best option, repeatable, proper, and expected). Don't have switches: Fit a couple Xtension Connector Sets

    Thanks! How do I manually set machine coordinates to 0?
    (I usually have to re-find work zero every time I mount a work piece anyway so the machine coordinates are irrelevant; homing switches aren't repeatable to 0.01mm anyway)

    Also, could we do some kind of current detection homing like the Prusa 3D printers do? They do not use limit switches, they just drive the steppers until they detect the current spike.

    I wonder if this could be implemented just as a firmware change.

    You can stop F360 using G53 commands by changing the setting in the 'Safe Retracts' option on the Autodesk post processor to 'Clearance height'.

    But seriously: fit homing switches.

    I use inductive proximity switches on my homemade CNC, triggered by 'flags' that move across the face of them. They are pretty much good for 0.01mm (I've tested it). If I need to, I can re-home and continue machining.
