    Ive been running into this error #2 a lot when getting ready to run a projects the Openbuilds interface. I have to keep trying several times to make it work. I looked up the error code and get 2 different answer's so not surte which is correct. Like I said I can eventually get it to work but it throws this code several times befor it starts to work. Any Ideas why this is happening. If its really something to do with the travel. Then the machine is really messed up because the travel has always been fine.

    As a test, run the same files from the PC for a bit, EMI is a little more likely to affect Interface (long cable, better antenna) so that might confirm if its EMI related.

    If it is, addressing the source is key. VFD spindle / Plasma or similar in use?

    So your saying the long cord that comes with the Openbuilds controller my be a culprit (Possibly) I'll run the test using the computer and not the controller and see what happens. Let you know when Im able to do it. and the results. Thanks

    Not at all.

    I am saying it makes a good test to see if you have an EMI issue elsewhere. Then we fix the SOURCE of that EMI (Spindle, Plasma, whatever). Long cable is fine - but if you have EMI (you shouldn't) it would catch it a little easier

    And then only IF it is PC vs Interface showing PC wins. If same issues come up on PC its something else.

    Cart behind the horses (;

    Test 1
    Depending on its results we'll take it further

    Ok so today when I fired up the cnc it gave me the error code 2 again. And I thought about it for a minute, and realized the project I ran the other day was made with F-360 ever time I get an error code it from a design from Eseal only. IDK if that makes any sense to anyone but that what’s happening no errors with F-360 just Easel. Any ideas

    Post a sample of the non working file. Perhaps they aren't 100% grbl compatible, Error 2 relates to incorrect gcode.
