Everything has been working great my first few days with the openbuilds 1515. Currently doing my first 3d cut and it appeared to be working perfectly. I abruptly got this warning alert, so I rehomed, reprobed, and restarted the job. It's now gone past that point and the rough is probably 85% done and I just got it again.
Your controller thinks that a limit switch has been hit. if that hasn't happened the most likely cause is EMI (interference) - do you have any mains or spindle cables in the drag chain next to the limit switch wiring? Thanks. I just got it again for a third pass. It went all the way through the areas already cut, no problems (I do not get know how to pick back up where left off) and once it started cutting again I got the same error. Router and vacuum Jose are suspended above the machine. Low volt wiring for triggers are clean.
The last two times it happens within 20-30 seconds of each cut once it gets last air cutting and starts cutting again.
I turned the vacuum off that's duct taped to the router and router clamp and the hose kinda lays over the top beam. Temporary until my dust boot arrives Monday. Since turning it off no problems at all.
You may need to run a ground wire through your dust collector hose. It may be creating a lot of static electricity leading to EMI.
Also, you may want to put a filter on what ever device you use to run GRBL. If you use a BlackBox than it's already part of the circuit but if you don't, like I do, then you have to put them yourself, like I did. Once I've installed the filters (small capacitors) I never had the problem again and I didn't run a ground wire with the vacuum hose.
