    Hello,
Are there any tutorials for getting started with using Solidworks with the Openbuilds Lead 1010?
I'm proficient in modeling in Solidworks. I just need to know how to set up SW so it will talk to my Openbuilds lead 1010 and output the correct code when I post process.
    Thank you!

I suggest that you search the forum for references to solidworks. If I recall correctly it came up in several posts about a year ago but there wasn't an easy solution.

    the generic answer is
use the post that outputs the simplest possible , plain Gcode.
    No toolchanges
No drill cycles or other cycles, just plain G1 G2 G3 moves.

If all you have is one that linearizes everything (ie does not use arc commands), then use that, just don't set the tolerance too small, 10x your mm/step value should be fine, increase until you can see steps in the finish, then reduce to taste.
