This is the second time its happening to me. I like the software but its a tad temperamental. The current situation follows. I am using Fusion 360 to generate my tool paths. I made the simulation and it looks good. The piece is a 50mm x 50mm x 15 mm piece. I am referencing the origin point off the top left hand corner of the stock.
However, when I bring the Gcode into the Control, the origin point defaults to almost 150mm to the left or the selected origin point of my model. What is causing the control application to position its origin so far off that of the position indicated on the design software? Most importantly, what is the fix to this problem? I have reset the Grbl setting and re-calibrated the x,y and z axis movements.

Control cannot and does not modify anything. If it moved, it moved in your CAM setup :) or if its only in the physical realm (ie preview is correct) then its either stalling of the machine (Max Rate / Acceleration tuning) or how you Zero your work coordinates

So the main problem lies in the Fusion setup? Am pretty confused at the moment. Trying to think of where to find the source of the fault. Thanks.

Looking at the model i am working with, i might have hidden an empty offset plane which i think might have created a empty void which created an off set for the model I was planning to mill. The mystery continues. :(

Tip: including the Fusion files means someone on the forum can help you look at what went wrong. Without files, best we can offer is a guess :)
