Attempt to run an adaptive clearing on a guitar neck out of Fusion 360, using the latest post processor for Openbuilds.... job gets about a 1/4 the way through and throws this error.... I am not sure how to diagnose to fix it.

Below is the tool path... it craps about around the third pass at the top right of the head stock about the middle way down.

@Peter Van Der Walt Sorry about that.. should have included.... I had modified it a bit...added a sketch for a bounding box so the adaptive would just focus on the center of the back of the neck. I thought I had it in a better position for adaptive clearing.... ran the modified ( Adaptive 7) and it was just about done and threw a similar error again.

So here are the photos and the fusion file.

I am working on the back (ASN BOT) Adaptive7 is the toolpath.

Please leave some blank space around the workpiece. The last pass of the toolpath may cause some pieces of the board to fly off, ruining the workpiece.

I have made a few more changes... I am a novice at F360, actually less than a novice.... I kept changing a few things and in this file it is working front and back. No errors so far. The only issue is the adaptive clearing for top and bottom is taking way too long. I could understand if I am cutting aluminum but I am cutting poplar right now but most will be maple or mahogany.

    1. Get the latest OB Postprocessor Releases · OpenBuilds/OpenBuilds-Fusion360-Postprocessor
    2. Read the options till you find 'Linearise Small Arcs' and set it to Yes
    3. regenerate all Gcode

    upload_2021-3-20_21-36-32.png

    what does it do?
Arcs that have radii smaller than the bit radius often have radius errors larger than GRBL will tolerate.
By setting this option to yes all such small arcs are output as linear moves thus preventing any hint of arc radius mismatches.

If you look at the original error message you will see that the I and J offsets are in the millionths of a meter range, really really small arcs with radii probably smaller than the machines step size (certainly smaller than my machines 0.025mm step size).
