Hi, I just completed my Custom 1000x1000 Sphinx CNC but Im having an off problem... with the custom plates that have 2 backlash blocks on all the plates are working great but my Y axis is juttering on start and stoping.. but everything else is butter smooth... being im not familiar with the sound of a good ole backlishing, im assuming this is the issue but ig anyone can help. Ive made a few adjustments but it still is not smooth on start or stop...

    THANKS!

Sounds like wiring. 3 of the 4 wires making good contact.

    See docs:blackbox:faq-identify-motor-coils [OpenBuilds Documentation]

ok ill recheck... took off the connectors thinking this was in fact the issue and reattached them and it still did it... maybe I need run new wires and try again... one thing when motor is not attached to wires it was effortless to turn the screw coupler attached to motor and jog the gantry back and forth as it should be... thanks! will update...

couple of other angles lol. The clunk sound on first vid was my laptop bumping into cnc not machine binding or anything ;). I guess the musical harmonics sound is normal? sounds nice lol
