    Good Day everybody!

Were can I source the dxf files for the quenbe build. Or would this be third party?

I live in South Africa and to ship a plate set to me cost more than the steel alone. Closest is from Australia and China.

I work at a laser profile cutting company and I am busy building a 1510 Work Bee. Just want to have the option of upgrading to the quenbe when I need it.

Now a different question. Would making the plate set out of Stainless be a negative because of weight?

The quenbe is a SPAM design not an OpenBuilds one. You'll need to contact them to find out where they post their open source material.

As for weight, shouldn't be a significant issue. Please note that as steel is significantly stiffer than aluminum you can actually use thinner steel plate when making the plate set. 4.2mm plate in stainless would be equivalent stiffness to 6mm aluminum plate.
