    Hi

Need some help with homing my workbee 1010. I have been running my machine and always homing it no problems I went out to get some material for a project and went to home the machine and it blew past the home spot right into my limit switch. I have the Black Box and am using google chrome any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked your limit switches to make sure they are reading?

With the machine in the middle of the machine, hit the limit switch by hand and see if you get the alarm in Control. (I’m guess you are using the BlackBox controller and Openbuilds Control?). If you don’t get the alarm, then the switch is not talking to the controller. Check the wire from the limit switch to the controller and see if something came loose or if a wire broke.

    I’d start there.

Alarm will only happen if Hard Limits is enabled. Some people only enable Homing.
Better to check the switches using the Troubleshooting tab in CONTROL :)

if the limit switches are working then the homing should work. I’ll defer to the master here at this point since that’s the only thing I can think of that would cause a homing cycle to fail.

Correct, as it did work, then stopped working, a damaged wire is still the more likely cause

If all the limits work, then homing must work (if Homing is enabled) Make a video, show us whats happening may offer some more clues

Ignoring homing for a moment, are you still able to jog the X axis left and right using control s/w?
