Seems like a straight forward answer however I just can’t seem to work out how to generate the gcode to work due to the z axis keeps moving and comes up with an error.

I want the gcode to work like the hello world sample file I uploaded.

laser working and enabled just problem with the z axis. How to disable the z axis in openbuilds cam? Also keep the laser powering on for engraving and off for the movement.
    Does anyone know?
    Thanks in advance

    Enable Laser Mode gnea/grbl

Flash the 2 Axes firmware from CONTROL (If you select Acro, it asks you do to so, or you can manually do so from Wizards and Tools > Firmware Flashing tool menu.

From a CAM perspective, if you don't have a Z axis, the moves will just be ignored, so they can be present too, doesn't matter. Though settings Z Clearance height and other Z values to 0.1mm for example avoids waiting for the nonexistent axis to move
