i have a gcode file and when i import it into control its got a whole smattering of nonsense that doesnt look anything like it should. i open the file in UGS and it looks as it should. file was exported from Fusion360 yesterday, multiple times, and a few different ways. any ideas? this is a 3d parallel path. i've included the file, as well as the screenshot from UGS and CONTROL to the post.
You are using our Post? docs:software:fusion360 [OpenBuilds Documentation] The cropped screenshot (photo) sadly cuts off the top toolbar, but are you on the latest CONTROL? Note that the 3D view is always just a best effort Doesn't seem to be entirely typical: Incorrect radii, YZ (G19( and XY (G17) plane mixed - we only support XY plane previews
oh, i didnt know about the POST! let me try that and verify my control version. EDIT: i was on v1....238, installing latest version now
updated Control before trying different POST and the issue remained, but after i generated the code again with the OpenBuilds POST it worked. hooray. it was just weird, this was the 2nd path derived from the original contour cut, the contour path and the 2nd path after had no issues. Thank you for your knowledge once again
Yeah, our post is more Grbl compatible than the Grbl posts (; - All credit to David the Swarfer, Sharmstr and Strooom: OpenBuilds/OpenBuilds-Fusion360-Postprocessor for all that hard work
