Hi Martin, I saw many videos on youtube regarding Pokeys config. Congrats to these good films. I bought Pokeys 57 and PoStep 60 but have some trouble to config it. I wonder if you see a chance to help me to find a solution. Is there a chance to get support? Thank you! Cheers, Ben
Hi Ben, I can try to help you. Let me know your issue in some more detail. You are welcome to use my private email [email protected]
Hi George, Yes I have made some batches of gantry plates and other stuff available through makersupplies.dk - check it out. Cheers, Martin
My friend i salute to you, i'm from Chile and i'm insteresting to buy the same project like you: http://www.openbuilds.com/builds/stainless-ox.1914/ how cost to you this projetct? Greetings and blessings from Chile!
Hi Pancho, From Chili I think you should source the parts from OpenBuildsPartstore. However, there are some important elements that can not be supplied. These include gantry plates, z-limit switches, dual belt end brackets, tape, and spindle bracket for 43mm (like Kress 1050).
These items you can get from makersupplies.dk Prices you see on makersupplies.dk are including 25% VAT. Shipments to addresses outside EU will not have to pay this VAT - but you may be charged to import by Chile. To get a quote for shipment please contact [email protected] with a list of items you need. Hope this helps you on with your considerations. Cheers from Denmark, Martin
Hi Martin, I've seen your video on lead shine servo motor... Very interesting!! I wonder if you have tried to directly connect the motor to one of the axis of OX or if you know it is possible to use arduino uno flashed with grbl libraries and connect the servos (one for each axis)... Avoiding use any shield or a breakout board with integrated motor driver... Thanx! Have a nice day!!
Hi Andrea, Sorry for not responding to this question. For some reason I have not seen it before today. The Closed Loop Steppers are controlled by normal STEP/DIR signals - so you can controll them by any controller that has these outputs. This includes Arduino w grbl.
Hello Martin. I have seen some of your YouTube videos and am really interested to know more about your "best vfd". I have just purchased a small Chinese CNC and it has the same vfd. I am wondering if you have a manual, or could help me out with setting the parameters. Ant help would be largely appreciated. Regards Andrew
Hey Martin, I really like your build setup, I'm new to the cnc machine world but have been doing a lot of research. I've been looking at several ideas for a cnc machine and i really liked the servobelt drive system by bell-everman. Id also be interested in a set of plates should you decide to get them made as long as said plates could be shipped to the US, thanks for the informative project highlight.
Hi Martin, I read all about your build and will say that it's great. I'm new her and have a lot of questions therfore I would like to ask if it vill be possible to see your CNC build i live. I live in Fredensborg so perhaps we could meet? Br Dariusz
Hi Jimbo70 I will see how many that are interested in getting the Stainless Plates and then go to the shop to ask for a good price. I will make me a note that you might be interested. IF we have more plates made we should go for 3mm. Less weight and cost. I assume Stainless is not for free :-) Br, Martin
