Hello, I am very new to the group and just purchased the lead 1010. I am curious on what system will work best with the software open builds provides and the black box. I have a home computer (2017 27" iMac) but that is inside and probably not best to move in and out of house.

I am also wanting to use Fusion 360 to start designing and building guitars. I am looking for the best system (without breaking the bank) that can support Fusion and be able to plug in to the black box. Would a Dell Optiplex 9020 work?

Any guidance would be much appreciated

    Thanks,

    Eric

The Optiplex 9020 isn't a specific build so it's hard to really say. At best, it's hardware from 2013. As long as it's 64bit, it should be fine. It won't break any speed records in Fusion, but it will work. At worst, it could be frustrating to work in.

NYC CNC has some recommendations on computers for Fusion. Any of them will run OB Control. What Computer to Buy for Fusion 360 - NYC CNC

There's also a tuning section there. Maybe try that with your current laptop and go from there.
