1. Yes 2. Download OpenBuildsCONTROL -> Tools and Wizards -> Calibrate 2.1 We also supply predefined profiles for all our machines on the Grbl Settings tab (no need to calibrate/guess settings) 3. There are step size calculators on the Grbl Settings tab next to each steps-per-mm box where you can tell it your belt pitch, pulley diameter and microstepping (1/8th by default on Blackbox) and it calculates it for you
Gyday Pete Thanks for your reply, you have explained it for me. to start with. Have loaded the controller but yet to explore it? is there any manuals or instructions ? my lazer runs GRBL no probs. the Router was running Marlin (hate it) and is now brainwashed, so the black box. Lloyd

also checkout our many wiring/controller/software tutorial videos on OpenBuilds® (even if your specific machine is not the subject of a video, the system is quite modular so what counts for one counts for most)
