I have Acro laser with 5W Opt Laser with the lens that came with that laser. I have focused it several times and it cuts fine but what I noticed is a bunch of light is dispersed showing up as blue circles. That's light that should have been focused into a beam but it doesn't, making the laser beam weaker.
How do you fight this? Is there a lens that does a better job focusing the beam?

Speak to the guys at OPT laser themselves, they sell a couple different lenses. There is a shorter focal, higher collaminate lens (but i found it doesnt help with cutting as the short focal length makes for a very narrow depth of field)

Thank you for the advice. I wanted to get the long focal lens but their shipping charge is almost double the cost of the lens itself. I wonder if there is another source for that type of lens that is good quality.
