I discovered (when I broke it) that the mounting bracket for the fixed end of the Y drag chain was extremely weak - a 12mm x 15mm join between the upright portion and the flat plate the drag chain attaches to relies on adhesion between layers for strength.
This redesign leaves off the section of plate with four slots in it (not used on the workbee) and changes the printing orientation so that layers wrap around the potentially weak corner.
The Fusion 360 file is included on Thingiverse for anyone who wants to play with it.

I was thinking along the lines of an easily removable dust cover that would allow plenty of airflow to cool the stepper drivers (and therefore some dust) and could be very quickly taken off to blow out dust and replaced. Ie: not a complete enclosure and hook/clip on rather than screwed in place.

90+ people have downloaded this since I designed it, so I guess there was some demand for it.
Are any of the other 3d printed parts for the workbee causing people problems?
    Alex.

I'm sure there is room for improvement everywhere but I like where your going with this and even possibly adding in a filter as well to capture some of the incoming dust.

Thanks @Mark Carew, lots (80+) people have downloaded the dust cover, but the thread was somewhat hijacked by Colin Mccourt:p - I was actually referring to my re-design of the Y drag chain bracket.

Thanks, Alex, much appreciated Sir. Am in the process of building a Workbee 750x 1000 and have today decided to stepover the Makita router and procure a Water-cooled 1.5KW spindle. As such have you come across a Dust Shoe design for the 3D printer that will work with the 65mm ER 11 Spindles?
