    Jerwan, why do you need two steppers for the z axis if it's going up and down only on one side what with it being cantilevered?

    I don't have 2 steppers on the Z axis, I only have one.

    Sorry, I reposted... :) I am inly using 4 Nema17 motors for the entire build. I must have made a typo on the original post.

    I find this very interesting because it's the only 300x300 or bigger cantilevered printer I've ever seen. I am interested in converting my CR-10 into something similar (there's quite a few reasons why but it would mostly be as an experiment). Where exactly are you experiencing the vibrations; what axis are coming out of alignment? Is the z gantry drooping, the x rail swinging side-to-side, or both?
