I can't see the difference between C-Beam and V-Slot rails.

And am I mistaken, or do the OpenRails require 2 of them to function in addition to being mounted on one of the above?

Yes, each piece of OpenRail only provides one edge to ride on. You need two opposing edges.

Then what's the advantage to using them? I assume you can screw them together, back to back so to speak, if you don't want to mount them to a C-beam or V-slot rail.

You can mount an opposing pair on structural aluminum tubing, plywood framing, or whatever you want. No V-slot required. You can set your opposing wheel spacing at whatever you want based on the size of the framing member.

    Thanks again!
Can you cover the other question as well? What's the difference between V-Slot and C-Beam?

    C-beam is just C shaped V-slot.

Amateur Maker. Go to the "PART STORE" and have a look around. Most of the answers are there. :D
