    Hi,

Can I ask... Is there a reason why you are continuing to use the vertical linear rails for the X gantry to slide on.

Surely with the presence of the 20x40 vertical sections you could slide the X gantry up and down on v-slot rollers and achieve a much more accurate and less flexible z axis path.

Is this something you've looked at and dismissed for some reason ?

The 2040 vertical extrusions were T-Slot aluminum. I gave it a lot a though at the time i converted it over to aluminum, but ran out of funds in the budget.

I am considering upgrading the y and z axis to linear rails. BLV mgn12 mod for Anet A8 / AM8 by Blv

    Thank you
