I'm building my first Ox CNC and I was wondering where/what people did with the power supplies and controllers? In some sort of project box to protect them from dust? Right next to the machine? Under table?

My PSU is mounted under my workbench to try to keep the dust out of it. My TinyG is mounted on the end of my Y-rail in a 3D printed box and it gets a blast of air from my compressor every time I clean up.

Make sure your emergency stop is located in the easiest spot for you to reach.

You can put all the electronics wherever you like (according to cable lengths). Just keep in mind that putting it in an easily accessible location will help preventing some future headaches.
As for the box itself, the choice pretty much depends on how much time (and money) you are willing to invest.
Some websites where I found useful stuff are:
    damen-cnc.com
    cncdrive.com
rittal, EB line (if you really want to overdo)

I have an old 4U server that I may mount under the table. It will fit everything. Maybe put it on drawer pulls.
