I am currently trying to figure out what kind of Aluminum extrusion to use for the 7' section, any suggestions? Im thinking of a gantry that will run along the 7' section and only span about 30" or so.

Skis and maybe snowboards have a curve (front and back), no ? Would you be doing more of a form / mold to shape the skis/boards with ?

You will need the CNC router to do the forms and then cut the 'core' for the skis, snowboards and skateboards. Space being allocated might be a bit cramp, but nothing good organisation could not work around ... and your shop has at least some of the other tools (and more space for them).

    Looking forward to your progress.

Yes, the machine will be used primarily for making the molds ( a very time consuming process that requires a lot of repetition. I hope to also be able to cut out cores, top and bottom layers with this machine and different tooling.
