I need control the height for my plasma torch and the solution is a THC system, but how I can configure the blackbox for communicate the THC with the blackbox?
It is not a supported configuration at this time. We recommend using a drag-head: See video below, around 9min onward (Whole video is worth watching though)
Thanks for reply. I have a question in that mechanism, when the plate is deformed and the separation is decreasing, the torch will touch the plate, the spring will return the torch but the separation will be 0 between the torch and the plate. That is a problem for the plasma cutting, isn't it?
After probing, your Gcode can set the pierce and cut heights correctly. It only rides high spots (unavoidable, but rarer) most of the cut happens with the right seperation
Nothing on the plans, no real need for it with a nicely built machine with a floating head like our OpenBuilds LEAD Plasma THC is more for industrial users (1-2-inch thich plates warp etc) for thin stock on this style of machine a floating head is just fine
