This is a bed shift/ conveyor I designed and setup for my laser and maybe some light cnc. It replaces the y axis and gives me 810mm of work area . I added another limit switch on the y axis while I was soldering in and setting up a y in the limit switches to allow the slider limit switch travels. For the green plug I cut out the green plug from a circuit board and soldered on the adapter. I made it with some left over and abandon machines from 10 -12 yrs ago. 1 used some bearings for floating casters under the bed to help with uneven loads. Video included of homing.
John, that moves out a lot. What will prevent it from leaning down, at max extension, with the material on it?
so far the material i have been testing with hasn't but I have some mounts that allow attachment to the table if needed, i just didn't put them on for the pictures and video
