    Good evening,

Does anyone know if there is a Tangenital Knife set made for the workbench type CNC machine like a Lead 1515? I can see drag knives but not Tangenital. Of particular interest is one that can cut at 45degree (Bevel edge).

Many thanks in advance for any info or direction.

Yes thanks, I have seen the Donek ones, but my aim is to cut 45 degree angles in mat boards so it will need to be locked rather than free spinning like a drag knife.

I wish it was that simple but in order to cut a bevel around corners it will require some sort of engineered solution and the blade will need to be sloped 45degrees either to the left or right. I can see them on the industrial tangential knives just not seeing one for the desktop machines.

What's the application, final product etc? The more details, the more we can advise. Knife might just be one option. V bit milling? etc?

Perhaps these pictures might best describe the desired outcome. It is needed to cut the 45 degree beveled edges seen in picture framing mats.

    and AXYZ - 028756 Trident/ISM - 45 Deg Knife Cartridge
but you will need a rotatry axis that is driven to the correct angle for the cut.
A axis on the Blackbox X32 can do it, mounted vertical instead of the router spindle.
I have some ideas for doing a fusion360 postprocessor for this setup.... others may already exist since the machines exist.
