When I am trying to run the probe from the interface or control software when trying to find the z zero it keeps going down until I cancel it. Also when I run the x zero it will try and go to the right of the probe and when I try to run the y zero it will try and go to the top of the probe real slow and after a few seconds it will say it cannot find the zero.
1) BlackBox firmware up to date? (Section 7.1 of the BlackBox Documentation) 2) test Probe wiring on Troubleshooting tab (touch plate to clip, does indicator change? - if not recheck wiring)
seems to me at least Y is going in the wrong direction. 1. turn off homing 2. make sure the tool jogs in the correct directions, X+ is tool right, Y+ is tool away, Z+ is tool up 3. enable homing, make sure it homes toward your switches correctly (a different direction setting to the above!) 4. calibrate. OpenBuildsCONTROL has a calibration wizard. calibrate over the longest distance you can measure, the default 100mm is just to prevent crashes Now your probing has a chance to succeed by going in the correct direction and going the correct distances.
