Hi i haven't been on for a number of years due to health and work etc, i wasn't on long before that, anyway i trying to get back and have loaded Control on a new computer, old v 1.027 new v1.0307. i wanted to transfer the setting i have in the old version to the new, however new one doesn't have Grbl Setting tab? is this because i have 2 running? i am sorry for very basic question. sure you can see its a while since i was on a computer.
I haven’t had it plugged into machine yet, thought 8 would have put settings in to tell it what sort of machine etc?
Connect it to the machine - the settings tab should then show up. As Peter says, the machine settings should already be there.
Good evening. This week, I set up a new LEAD 1515, downloaded the latest version of the Control app, and connected it to the BlackBox32. My experience is that the GRBL tab in the Control app only shows up when my computer is connected to the controller. Thx, rink.
Yup. Has to be hooked up. I keep an arduino board near my computer in the house just to plug it in so I can see the settings if I am helping someone on the forum.
