Can OpenBuilds Control software be used in LightBurn without the Black Box? I have some files in OpenBuilds format but cannot get them to burn correctly in LightBurn.

    Thank you in Advance.

Are the files saved as .svg or .dxf files? What "format" are you referring to when you say OpenBuilds format? By chance do you mean the gcode files created with the Openbuilds CAM software?

It says it is a gcode file, so should open in Control.

However, the message says that the file has been blocked (presumably by some anti-malware) - Have you tried unblocking the file?

It also may not open properly if not made with Lightburn. I just tried importing about 10 different simple .nc files where the CAM was generated with different software, and Lightburn had issues with them all. Can you just get the original vector or image and generate the gcode for your laser in Lightburn?

Also, if it is defaulting to open in the OpenBuilds Software, right click the file and choose "Open With" and select Lightburn. If you do not see Lightburn as a choice, select "choose another app" and find lightburn.
