in the change log 19 Sept 2023 Disable Control integration use save g code button. how can I get this enabled? I am having all kinds of issues Save button does nothing, Everytime I try to open the software I have to download it again also have to sign in over and over. Cant get g code to control It seems to me to all be somehow related to the Control integration.
Integration has been suspended - use the Save Gcode button (it works fine) CONTROL install and registration is once off too All the random different issues indicates it might be time to reformat that computer and start fresh... CONTROL has an install base of almost 90k users - if it was a CONTROL issue, you'd not be alone in the issues - so start checking locally first.
I just tried it add text to blank drawing in OpenBuildsCAM select the text add toolpath to text button 'generate gcode' button 'save gcode' the browser popped up the usual list of downloads, I clicked the file in the list, and it opened CONTROL with the file open. that seems 'integrated' to me (-:
Yeah the only feature we deprecated was the one-button "transfer gcode" (To avoid need for constant CONTROL updates every 90 days when certs expire) Just one extra click (Save > Open as seperate steps)
did a reformat following windows instructions. found that everytime I tried to use Google for my default browser windows was switching it back bing or edge . Found lots of things not quite as they should. But it is now running. I am currently waiting for fiber optic cable to be hooked up which will be such a giant leap from our present system with Hughes Net. You can't imagine the weird stuff that goes on with them. Thanks for the help. OpenBuilds is a super outfit and I am very glad I found y'all. I am a long way from the old Low Rider.
