    Hi All,
Is there an option to home machine (Front Left corner) on start-up.
Can't see any GRBL to do so
    Thanks.

if it is not in the GRBL wiki then it does not exist
it is just one button to click on in any decent GUI like OpenBuildsCONTROL, a normal part of operating any CNC machine

Thanks David, I am running OpenBuildsCONTROL with the Interface, but positive I have seen another machine running GRBL auto home on start-up... Guess not. Cheers

I would guess auto-homing on start up might not be a good idea for safety reasons?. A bit like starting a car while it's in gear I suppose.

I sort of agree, but I have a Duet controller which runs a very flexible script on boot up and for a long time I added home all axes to that script - I did always park it at the home position before power off though.

The machine i'm referring to here is infact a Ooznest 1010 which I have modded somewhat and originally had had the Duet controller. That's where the Auto home was coming from. Don't recall implementing that myself, anyway thanks all.

The firmware has no way of knowing why it booted up. Power up being the minority. Resets happen all the time. Alarms, errors, crashes, EMI reboots, clicking Abort/Reset buttons. Would be very dangerous. Not advisable
