Hi everyone, I'm new here and been browsing around. Did tons of HW and currently own a 4896 (trying to downsize). I recently purchased a built CNC machine. Seller (indicated only built it and tested at Hello World) claim it was SPAM Workbee 1500x1500 but after comparing his online photos and seeing it in person I'm convinced it is a Lead 1515. BUT only 1 X-AXIS C BEAM contrary to what I been seeing which is 2x X-AXIS. (See Photos) 1. am I correct in my assumption this is an Openbuild Lead 1515 CNC with one X-Axis C-Beam? I measured my footprint area it is in fact 65"x65" 2. How much effort is it to change out the parts and made it a normal 2 C-Beam X-Axis? I see there are several additional parts and plates I need to purchase. Or should I just run with 1 X-Axis C-Beam Thank you all for the attention and I'm looking forward to joining this community!!
It's a Lead, with the standard z axis height and single x gantry, run it like you have and upgrade if you find it doesn't accomplish what you need. Gary
