Z-Axis crashes when starting a job using Blackbox X4 and Touch Interface

    Hello everyone,

    I have been facing an issue with my CNC machine (Lead 1010) when using G-code generated by Fusion360. Every time I try to run the G-code using an USB stick on the Interface, the machine makes the same initial movements. Specifically, the Z-axis moves downwards and heads towards the starting point, resulting in a collision with the board if the bit is left on.

    I'm using the XYZ Touch Probe Plus for the calibration of the zero point.

    I have tried various solutions but have not been successful in resolving this issue. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to fix this problem.

    WCS offset is set to 1
    Stock Point is set to the upper corner of the starting point.

    In another thread I found someone checking the EndPos: Use Machine Coordinates (G53) but the result is the same with or without.

    Are you homing your machine first? - the post processor uses the machine co-ordinate system for safety moves at the start and end of the job, if you don't home the machine the controller will think the position the machine was in when you switched on is the home position.

    Hi guys,

    I had to load the Lead 1010 profile and then I set the home. I did a test and it works like a charm.

    There are 2 ways to home
    with switches, and the home button does the job
    or 'fake the home' How to 'Fake the home'
    I will have a read. Thanks! I've got switches but I think I damaged on of them and I'm not sure if it might stop working at some point. Hence, it might be useful to set a fake home at some point.

    Thanks a lot guys! Finally, I can cut some toys for my kid! Worked days to figure that one out and you guys solved it in minutes! Appreciate it!
