Z-axis on DIY CNC

    is it better to make a z axis for a cnc with a c beam that has linear rods and vslot wheels in the inside or make a z axis with linear rails with a 2060 extrusions
    1. this one is c beam with v slot wheels on the inside

    The wider the grip laterally, the greater the rigidity of the mount and rigidity is everything when it comes to cut quality. While the external 60 would be better than the internal 40, neither remotely compares to what Peter suggested.
