I just upgraded my xcarve and I’m not sure how to set the changes in openbuilds. I have been using openbuilds for 6 months with no issues and hope to keep it that way! Does anyone know what adjustments I need to make to compensate for the upgrades I did to the xcarve? Larger belts and new Z setup. Also larger stepper motors.
    Thanks

Does any of the upgrades result in fundamental changes?
Bigger belt: but did the pulley teeth count or belt pitch also change? (Wizards and Tools > calibration)
Z Axis: different leadscrew pitch? (Wizard and tools > Calibration menu)
Larger motors: if Same 200 full steps per rotation, no recalibration needed. Depending on what controller you have you may need to adjust motor current to suit

Yes the new stepper motors are different and the length of travel for Z axis is different. I did find that the new settings for $100,$101,$102, $3(to reverse direction of Z) and $132 once changed were all that i needed. Had an issue with homing the machine and after 30 minutes of scratching my head found that the homing switch for Z was not bent down enough so it never closed when Z reached the top of its travel! Simple fix.
Thanks for your reply and assistance!
