I needed better clamping options, especially since I work with mostly sheets...well 48 x 48. Since I added the High Z it gave me the opportunity to change my spoil board. I added a few more 20 x 40 sections to the base frame for better support, then put a sheet of 3/4" MDF as my base....I was able to go with 52.5" width. The Y gantry carts were the limiting factor prior to the High Z....I can now get a full 48" width and 51" length of work space. I purchased a 40 piece t-track kit off Amazon and laid it out in a grid on the base. I then used more 3/4" MDF to fill in the grid. I can replace smaller sections as time goes on...if they get too bad.
Sorry for the late response, I hope you're still watching your thread. I'd love to copy what you've done here. Do you have the part number for the T-Track and do you have anything drawn up for holes patterns and fasteners you used? Did you mill out the track's or did you cut each section out and then mount them? Thank you!

You're awesome, Thank You! How do you like the High Z? Any issues with twisting (deflection) under heavy cutting?
I notice a bit going Y positive, but not bad. I can make shallower cuts, but up my feed rate, which seems to help.
