Hi all, my first post - Im setting up a lead 1515 and getting pretty pumped to use it, I just got it all hooked up and now Im having issues getting the Control software to run on my laptop. Acer aspire Windows 7 premium, freshly rebuilt for this purpose. Intel Core I3 processor, 6GB ram. Im running 1.03 newest version of Control, the service says says it started.. active 127.0.0.1:3000 but the GUI does not come up. I just see a faint white box in the background, but thats it. seems frozen, but doesnt say "not responding"... Can anyone help with this? thanks in advance. PS - Im quite computer savy and capable
Hi, turns it was a driver problem. Thought it might’ve been a hardware issue but all is well!! thanks for the reply!
Hi Peter, OK further to this I think I may need a different laptop - when I launch the open builds control the GUI stays a white box. I have to switch user and log back into my machine and then the GUI is readable. Once open control is running I get a “no web GL support” and 3-D viewer has been disabled.. It’s running Intel graphics card and I have tried tweaking the settings to “3D quality” but cannot get the 3-D viewer to run. Are there any tips for enabling 3-D viewer or do I need a new laptop? I’ve also tried changing process priority set to high but it keeps going back to normal all the time I don’t know why I can’t seem to get it to stick.. The 3-D viewer seems to be a very handy feature with the control software and not having it available kind of bothers me..
Chipset and GPU drivers up to date? Clean install of Win10? No other apps that conflict and use the GPU in the background
I am trying chipset update now.. Video drivers are up to date, a fresh install of windows 7, And I spent about two hours removing all the unnecessary bloatware from Acer. I do have one unknown device, base system in device manager, I’m trying to see if chipset will help that one. Thanks for your support
Hi again, so i can get the control software to display properly by "switching user" log off and back on again, it seems to be ok after that however the 3d view is disabled, the error is below: [10:51:17] [ ERROR ] No WebGL Support found on this computer! Disabled 3D Viewer - Sorry do you have any tips on how to fix this?(ive already gone into chrome and enabled webgl but it didnt seem to matter) thanks
Thanks. yeah it works on an old MacBook 13”, I was hoping to stick with windows.. Looks like I need a new box.. cheers
