Interface Power Issues

    Hello,
    I just received my interface in the mail and am working on setting it up with my 1500x1500 LEAD. I have made the proper connections but i do not have power to the interface. Am i missing any steps? Has anyone had issues with a bad connecting wire?

    It could be that the BlackBox is the issue?
    Which LEDs on the BlackBox is on? Is the RGB LED behind the logo on the top, next to the Fan, on?

    (shorting v+/gnd on the BlackBox Outputs can cause the 5v regulator to get damaged. If such an event happened over the lifetime of the BlackBox, it cannot power itself and the Interface anymore due to this earlier damage)

    Thanks for getting back to me and sorry for the delayed response.
    The only light that is on is the green power LED. I hope it’s s not a short or from damage. The blackbox and the interface are brand new. I switched everything back and was able to run the blackbox from my computer. I also plugged in the interface to the black box while my computer was hooked up and the interface powered up. Any ideas??

    Was there any earlier events like a miswired limit switch, or something else that could have caused a short?

    No, I don’t recall any issues when I was setting my machine up.

    why do that I was looking for answer here. So now I have jobs in the q and im dead in the water. So evidently this is an issue and I cant wait for someone to get around to answering an email. If you have a solution im all ears.

    Because the OpenBuilds Partsore can assist with warranties (because they deal with stock, order histories, etc) the forum cannot. This is the place for questions that can be resolved without the need for replacements / replacement parts. Please work, patiently, with the store and they'll ship out any replacements you need, if its determined to be the situation. Different teams :)
    They may have some questions for you about the exact symptoms, history and some testing first though to ensure they sort it correctly
