    Hi
In the Lead 1010 build video the guy talks about adjusting the eccentric spacers from the fully
open position till there is no more play.

    First Question
DO all 8 wheels need to be touching the C beam with the same amount of rotation?

    Second Question
What is the reason for him saying in the video to rotate the eccentric spacers counter clockwise
on the right side of the machine and Clock wise on the left side?

    Thanks for any help.

All should touch, but rotation may differ as each part has slight differences in tolerances

Just OCD :) practically it makes no difference, though it feels nicer when you know they went the same direction

Yeah I messed with those thing at least an hour or two over the last couple days and there
was no way I could find to get them all the same.

I got them pretty good now though so it's good to go.

I worry about getting them too tight. Is it enough to just have zero-lash in the plate assembly relative to the C-beam? I suspect that my adjustment of the eccentrics may have contributed to an offset between the LH and RH Y-axis during my first movement test.

Correct, just dial out play. No pressure

So is it normal for one wheel to free spin? i know in the above comments it says they should all touch but even with the free spinning wheel eccentirc spacer in the fully closed position, it still spins. I have tried loosening up the other wheels to varying degrees but i still can't get it to 100% engage. This is true for all but one of the assemblies that are part of each axis. The entire machine feels solid at each cart but i am a little concerned about the loose wheel.

You have some adjustment with the play in the holes that the screw holding the wheels goes through.
If you set the eccentric to it's loosest position, press the wheel firmly against the V-slot, tighten the screw and then re-adjust the eccentric that might help.

    Sir,
What is the length limits for v wheels.
Like up to how much length of travel distance for each axis, X , Y V wheels can be used.

    Thank You Sir,
    For example, in my design,
Y axis which is suspended, length is 1500mm 20*60v slot profile, with rack and pinion of module 2, with nema 23 3nm, with router 1.25hp, V wheels are good in budget, will be acceptable?

Rather use C-Beam (40x80) - 2060 is not the right profile for such a long span
