    Hello all,

sorry if my english is not perfect ,

I would like to know if it is possible to add an laser module as in this link on my OX CNC and how can i do it please.

I use an gShield v5 - Synthetos with an arduino and the grbl v1.1.
Sorry if the question have been ever posted but i've not found an clear information.

So i read somewhere in this forum, it seems to be possible and for this i must use the pin 11 and 14 of the gsheildo_O ( may be to the pwm laser ???)
and i must send M3 turn on, M5 turn off.
Next i must play whith the command M03 Sxxx for the laser power.
    If it not wrong...

Another question: can i switch easily with my makita and the laser module in the software?

    Thanks a lot

I have the same question cause when you change the device from LeadCNC 1010 to LEADCNC 1010 + laser, you have to enter the GRBL settings and save it to firmware. But then I guess that if I want to use my router again, I need to go back to LeadCNC 1010 and I lost all previous information (and same happen when I switch back to the "+ laser" version)
Is there a way to jump from to the other without the need to enter all parameters each time?

No, profile is only initially, it just populates the values below it for you
From there you can customize to your hearts content!

The instructions on screen does tell you that

You wouldn't even use Grbl Settings to change it. Create macros: Laser mode with $32=1, Router mode with $32=0

    Not in software only
    a) you need to change in and out of Laser Mode as it affects the parsing and planners
and b) you need to wire a toggle switch to switch the PWM signal between laser and whatever controls your router (IoT relay, vfd, superpid, etc)
