Hi all, I just recently upgraded my CNC OX to use the Blackbox controller and lead screws instead of belts. I powered it up for the first time last night and tried to jog the motors. All 4 motors just stutter and barely move if they move at all. I adjusted the current up and the stutter just gets louder but the motors will move occasionally. I tested the wiring continuity from the motor plug to the Blackbox plug and all motors are getting good tone. I verified the color pattern on the Blackbox matched the instructions and I verified that my motors use the red/Blue yellow/green pattern for the coils. I've tested my power supply voltage (24V). I've unplugged all motors but one with the same results on all. One oddity that I noted was that the Z axis moves the same direction no matter which job button I use. I'm at a loss. Any thoughts?
Glad you got it figured out! Don't blame yourself, night time lighting can really mess with how they look! Happens to us all! Good luck and have fun
I realy was hoping to Find thé answer here. My motors try to turn but do not move. Sorry first time user but realy hoping to der my machine work.
