Purely digital at the moment. I would appreciate any thoughts as to the increased weight and rigidity of the Y gantry. The fixed rollers are in line with the X gantry movements so it should be supported for the long moves. I would not be expecting to mill 6mm Aluminium all the way to the edges, more like Acrylic or wood panels. I currently have 2 layers of 10mm wood, but possibly with the added support only 1 would be needed.

The new C-Beam kit expanded to 1000mm . extra support built in for the extents of the travel.
