    MaryD and Mark.
Just an idea, but I know Mary likes to add things to the web page, so howabout, when you have the picture of a new build, or any picture for that matter, at the beginning of a potentially very long thread, you somehow make it move, or float down the side of the thread, as it gets longer?
I ask because, like many of us here, we read many, many, many threads, and quite often we have to go all the back to the top of the thread to see, or just remind ourselves what machine or design we are talking about in the first place! :(
    Ta

I think the question will be, where to park the picture? I think anywhere you float it it will cover something.

I think on the right where it says, "Staff member and Joined/Messages etc" would be okay.

Yes, unless, of course, the text of the post is very long, like yours in the first post, and then if will cover the text. If the text box can be made narrower, so that the text will truncate early, then it will work.
As a matter of fact the text boxes used to be narrower here but it was changed a year or two ago to these wider boxes.

Could we not click on it, and move it out of the way, if needed?
