    Ty :)
I did calibration lastnight and printed it's first part along with a test of the heatbed.
It takes 5 mins to get to temp and a blast with my infrared gun showed even temps

The source of many problem can be found with simply a picture of a print and the first layer of that print. By the way, we will upload the working Marlin code for that printer soon (just have to talk to robert first :p )

So I figured I would put the OBi3 to the test and see just what it could pull off :)
    image.jpg

    .1 layer 12.5 micron resolution :D

Then I said hey why not try it at 50% scale ;)
    image.jpg

Then I figured what the heck 25% should be interesting o_O

 Not bad for a .3 nozzle

Yes all my prints are PLA :)
I will be trying ABS but I hear it smells
The micron level is determined by your pulleys, belts and micro stepping
I have gt2 belts, 20 tooth pulleys and running @ 1/16th step rate the calculator is part of the prusa caluculator online :)

The tape goes right onto the glass no treatment needed and prints stick good.
Green painters tape is a gamble some works some don't :/

The parts you printed are designed for M10 in the y direction and M8 X direction

    2x625z for Y
    1x624z for X
In my kits I use 3x625 OB bearings because I have 5mm to 3mm inserts ;)

Man i was just looking at the parts in the file section these parts are wrong im holding the y motor mount and it has holes for 10mm rods where the corners have holes for 8mm. Same is true with y belt tensioner Also even if they were 8mm they dont line up with the corner blocks

I just grabbed all the separate files under the file tab. Should those be the only 2 parts that are different. Thats all i can tell.

3/8" rods are 9.525mm, good enough for what they are used for in this build and much easier to find

I don't use any supports but do use BLUE painters tape and a 5mm brim to create more surface area for the bed to hold onto.
With the proper cooling overhangs will be improved greatly

Where/what is the name of the part that attaches to the X Idler and X Motor mounts that the threaded rod goes through? I don't see it in the files section.

I looked through them all but I don't see that part. I'm starting to think is a metal part that gets attached to the X idler and motor parts instead of inserting a nut as some of the other build use. I'd just like clarification on it before I print the parts.

This black part is the one I'm seeking more info on.
